RFP checklist for drone exterior cleaning
What facilities and asset managers should demand before awarding a facade soft-wash scope.

A useful RFP separates method from theater. Ask for Part 107 credentials, insurance declarations, chemistry SDS, runoff/BMP approach, and a sample photo documentation pack.
Require elevation-keyed scopes: which faces are drone soft wash, which need lift or pole, and which are out of scope. Vague “whole building” language is how change orders start.
Ask how the bidder handles wind call-offs, guest traffic, and public-way permits. The answer should name roles on site, not marketing adjectives.
Score honesty. Vendors who refuse to claim they replace every lift are usually the ones who finish on schedule.
